Course Days

     Courses are offered all year except on some holiday weekends. We are also closed for two weeks around Christmas and New Year.

     All courses cover the exact same material regardless of where they are taught. All courses take the same amount of elapsed time whether the riding is in the morning or the afternoon. Each course has a Classroom session followed by Range 1 then Range 2.
     During longer daylight hours, multiple courses are run side-by-side for maximum seating. All courses complete in a single weekend.
     During reduced daylight in winter, fewer courses are run. All courses complete in a single weekend but there are no afternoon riding sessions.
     Occasionally unavailable facilities cause a shift in the regular schedule. Always check the Schedule Calendar page for actual dates. Any changes from the posted schedule will be clearly noted in your confirmation letter which is mailed when we receive your registration payment.

     The one-weekend format is used during longer daylight hours. In Spring, Summer, and Autumn, riding sessions are run morning and afternoon to take advantage of longer days.

     The Classroom session will meet Tuesday OR Wednesday OR Thursday evening, depending on how many courses are scheduled. Morning Range Group and Afternoon Range Group might take the Classroom together - or might be separated. The details will be on your confirmation letter.

Classroom one weekday evening 5:45 pm - 10:15 pm
Range 1 Saturday 6:45 am - 12:00 noon
Range 2 Sunday 6:45 am - 12:00 noon

PM Range group
Classroom one weekday evening 5:45 pm - 10:15 pm
Range 1 Saturday 12:15 pm - 5:30 pm
Range 2 Sunday 12:15 pm - 5:30 pm

     NOTE! Ending times are APPROXIMATE subject to student progress.

     Once you are scheduled into a morning or afternoon Range group, you will remain in that group for all riding sessions of the course.

     The one-weekend format is used in December and January. In Winter, because of fewer daylight hours, the one-weekend format rides during the morning only.

     The entire class meets together on Thursday evening for the Classroom session.
